Sport Whanganui is a charitable trust working to develop, build and promote sport in the Whanganui, Rangitikei and Ruapehu districts.
Governed by a board of trustees and managed by a CEO, it is one of several regional sports trusts (RST) nationwide and is funded through regional contracts with Sport New Zealand, sponsorship and funding applications.
